Meanwhile Zelaya was attempting to dupe his opponents into believing he would leave after being given his "last" three months as president, and ends up with the card saying "You've been duped." That was the main plot of "The Sting" and, oh, what a sweet and satisfying plot it is.

I've been following this for a long time, and I still can't fathom the Admisistration position. The Honduran constitution is crystal clear. Zalaya was wrong. Period. He had been attepting his own coup and he got caught. The Supreme Court of Honduras ruled against him, and he was deposed from office. Their constitution contains language which makes the action Zalaya had taken a kind of self-executing impeachment. He tried to beat the term limits, so he was autoimatically gone, AND the country's highest court affirmed that.

This sounds a little odd, but Honduras is its own country with its own legal traditions. I defy anyone to read the Honduran counstituition and come up with a different result.

The affair is looking like one more Effendi Obama ethnic picnic eff-up. How they can get so much so wrong is puzzling. Just sit back, and imagine the Effendi, Mrs. B.J., and about 20 other clowns climbing out of a Volkswagen, and listen to the music.
